Today is a beautiful Sunday in Southbridge. I hope everyone out there had a very Happy Thanksgiving and a not-too stressful Black Friday.
I?m down here at the Arts Center for the last day of the Charles Gaulin exhibition, open today, November 25th from 12-4pm. Charles has many beautiful paintings of landscapes and buildings from the Quinebaug Valley area, both in watercolor and oil. I am thoroughly enjoying my time here at the show, and if you are in the area, I urge you to come on down and visit. Here is my list of reasons to pop by and see the artwork:
- Charles is here! You get to meet the artist and get the scoop on his work.
- If you are still holiday shopping, the artwork here is lovely and would make a great gift.
- If you are sick of holiday shopping, you can come see the artwork and relax.
- Buying art from the Arts Center is a great way to shop local, and supports both the QVCAH mission and a local artist.
- Enjoying art is life-enriching free entertainment.
- Unlike crowded malls, the Arts Center is quiet and peaceful.
- If you haven?t seen this show yet, today is the last day, so come on in!
That?s a few reasons anyway! The QVCAH will be open until 4pm today. Hope to see you!
