Job Scope Plan, direct, manage IT outsourcing projects and monitor progress against quality, schedule, cost and other baselines to ensure that service levels are maintained and that business objectives are attained. Responsibilities Plan and develop strategy for IT outsourcing to meet business objectives Evaluate and select service providers best suited to meet IT outsourcing objectives Formulate and negotiate IT outsourcing contracts to meet outsourcing objectives Manage the transition process to an outsourcing environment Plan and manage the process to transform the current IT environment into the agreed-upon, future-state environment Manage service provider quality and performance to ensure that services are delivered according to the specified service levels and requirements Manage relationships with service providers to ensure that outsourcing contracts are successfully executed Manage contract migration and handover to ensure smooth transition at the end of contracts Manage project costs to ensure that projects achieve their planned benefits within budget Manage project risks in a timely manner to ensure that adverse outcomes are minimized Manage project team to make the most effective use of available human resources.
